i heard Jim Carrey played some nutter in it. was he any good? i don't mind him.

Yeah, he plays Colonel Stars & Stripes, some ex-mob guy that started a superhero club and it plays a relatively big role in the movie, but it wasn't anything spectacular. Maybe I panned the movie a bit too hard, I mean, it was sort of enjoyable but compared to the first one it's really bad.
