I think that the problem with the new logo is two things.
1. The Glukkon with the weird neck.
2. (And I think this is the main reason.) It lacks shading. It looks far too clean. Look at the previous posters (Paramite Pies, etc) and you always see shading but for this there is literally none.
I'd say that's the main concerns.
