Blending in probably wasn't the idea, as it's been mentioned before that it's supposed to be similar to Glukkon marketing material, which is notable for intentionally clashing with the surroundings.
What does confuse me is the 1950's style (mostly coming from the font and the washed out colours), which is very different from the in-game marketing, which is goofier and much less fancy. Makes me wonder if they intend to change the posters for Scrab Cakes and Paramite Pies into a similar style.
