Lorne and Wil have both said the logo was created by a fan. I think I know which one. And rather than trying to nick his spot, it'd be politer to send him some gentle criticism and ask if he might have a go at improving it himself.

Don't worry, I'm not trying to take his spot, I'm just trying to show what sam250 envisaged, basically. See how different colours work.
I, myself, don't have a problem with the current logo. I just like to design stuff. (Although, I think the colours, etc, seem more Oddworldish on my one, but that's just my opinion. It seems to take it more back to the original more.)
