I am watching Now and Then, Here and There which is an fantasy anime allegory of East African child soldiers and in particular the Lord's Resistance Army that nobody should watch, ever. Unless you're some kind of masochist or a complete moron like me.
I'm three episodes out of thirteen in and fuck fuck
fuck I cant' remember the last time I found something so hard to watch. It's a masterpiece in every sense of the word but holy shit it's the most brutal relentless thing ever. It's like having your stomach punched in non-stop for twenty four minutes a pop while you're forced to watch that thing from A Clockwork Orange.
Seriously. Nobody watch this masterpiece, nobody!
(It does have a Godly opening though)
