I seen Only God Forgives, and let me tell you that it had to be the worst goddamned show ever created. Now I can never picture Ryan Gosling without seeing a big, depressed looking bake anymore. Maybe it got good, but I'll never know, I had to turn it off halfway through because it just melted my mind.
What I got from it though was that Gosling's mother wanted to fuck him.

It was no Drive, but people panning it really seem to miss the fact that it wasn't supposed to be. I watched it and liked it, though it was disappointing that it wasn't just 'ultraviolent Drive in Bangkok.'
Gosling's mother fucked the dead brother. Gosling then murdered their father and fled. Gosling wanted to fuck his mother, there's a scene later on where he slices open her cadaver and shoves his fingers in her like that prostitute from earlier. They murder the woman who takes care of the daughter of The Angel of Death (the cop) and then Gosling murders his cohort before he can kill the kid. Gosling gets his arms chopped off voluntarily as retribution. The end
I just saw The Way Way Back. It was excellent. It did a good job of harnessing your emotions for a good payoff. Steve Carell was AMAZING as this massive asshole boyfriend. Sam Rockwell was hilarious. It came from the same people as Little Miss Sunshine, so go see it.
