I'm no fan of a monarchy either. It serves no purpose at all. In fact, the only thing our king is supposed to do (as far as law making goes) is sign laws that have been thought up, discussed and approved by our government. Then should he for whatever reason refuse to sign the law, he will be fired and the new king has to sign the law.
