Caught the second half of a documentary about the guys who caught the first-ever video of a giant squid in its natural habitat six months ago. Pretty cool stuff, I wasn't expecting it to be gold. It's got a sort of mother-of-pearl irredescence, like the inside of a seashell. But then, if all you found were dead butterflies, you'd think butterflies were all grey.

Have you seen the documentary in which a bunch of scientists perform an autopsy on a giant squid? It's revolting, but very interesting.
