It's not about ripping off God of War at all. Like, not even a little bit.
It's about ripping off Legend of Zelda.
That being said I did really like both 1 and 2. 2 introduces a ton of new gameplay elements that are a lot of fun, but yeah, the first one is just a really well made Zelda clone.
