I think a lot of people come for help on a game, and once they get it they're gone for good. That doesn't explain the zero-posters, but I think it does some of the ones with very low post counts.
I know that I had no intention of using the forums except for help with AO. I stayed after poking around a little on the other forums out of curiousity and found the nut jobs running around here highly entertaining.
