I am so into the idea of the Steambox, but so concerned about Linux being a viable os platform. The upcoming generation has got to be the most confusing generation of consoles to date. I have no idea what to think at this point.

At the risk of starting this discussion up again, I feel the need to point out that the Steambox will require an internet connection to download games. And plenty of games sync up with the cloud, as well.
