I was going to put cliff but he's deceased so I put my favourites who are still alive..I could name quite a few of my favorite guitarists who are deceased...
Also there isnt such thing as 'the best guitarist' in my opinion.. each to their own.
It's like arguing over coca cola and Pepsi.
