Cabin in the Woods.

My god, what a weird mashup of a movie. Was it actually supposed to be a comedy? It felt like a really unsatisfying case of a film that tried to bridge two genres and ended up neither here nor there. It wasn't really funny outside of a few brief moments, but the humor was just enough to ruin any of the attempts to be scary. The ending sequences inside the facility felt like an excuse to shoot cliches out and I just didn't really like it. I guess I could call it a farce, but I think that would be overly glorifying it. I'm glad I watched this with friends, because otherwise it wouldn't have been worth my time.

Also, ParaNorman. It was a sweet little film and had some really awesome themes about pack mentalities. It wasn't the best thing I've ever seen, but I'd recommend it if you're lost for a nice animated film aimed at a young-ish audience.
