Hi, Sydney.

I just wanted to explain the reason for my query about "positive contributions." I was looking for a thread to vent a little bit about my disappointment that MO was going X-Box only, and I thought, quite mistakenly as I discovered later, that a thread entitled "who thinks XBox sucks" had been removed. I actually don't think that, and agree with those who pointed out that not planning to get one or not being able to afford one or being disappointed that no Xbox/no Munch didn't mean thinking that the X-Box was bad. But, I thought that it was as good a place as any to throw my 2 cents in. But when I couldn't find the thread because I was looking in the wrong place *slaps forehead forcefully* I thought that it had been removed.

When your message followed my little mini-rant on Microsoft, I thought it was a subtle and ever-so-polite suggestion that dissent wasn't tolerated, and that's why I asked if "positive" meant "no complaining." I've done a lot more exploring on the boards and I've seen clearly that there is quite a bit of dissent and opposing viewpoints on many different topics. So, sorry for the misunderstanding.
