The only time I got a Valentine-anything that was serious was when someone thought I was a woman.

Fact.

Boy, was that awkward.

In general, though, the only thing I ever looked forward to with Valentines day were certain candies that were only sold around that time. I really don't like sweets, so when I find one I do enjoy I'll eat it pretty frequently. Unfortunately most of those sweets are only available around holidays like Valentines Day, Easter, and Halloween. I have no interest in the odd romance/friendship thing that comes along with it in my country.
