I assumed "something completely new" was an umbrella option for people who couldn't decide.
Besides, not every who's voting knows about everything that happens behind the scenes. Sometimes you just can't be bothered to look this stuff up, either, so in the end if you just want to see something new, it doesn't matter what it ends up being as long as it's new.
