People should just not broadcast everything about themselves to people who don't give a fuck. To be entirely honest, I care very little about people I'm not friends or family with. Ergo, I don't give two shits whether they're LGBT, KKK, atheist or Zoroastrian.
Actually...I wouldn't mind hearing about a Zoroastrian.
