It being Oddworld is probably the only reason to play MO, though. It's a chunk of the quintology's story that introduces one of the main heroes, and one of the previous heroes plays a large part in. Why would you play it otherwise?
Most people can agree it's probably the worst in the series that's not Oddworld Adventures because dear god, and if you look at it as a stand alone game it's not that bad, but it's far from good. It's in that grey area and there are so many better platformers (and hilariously bad ones) that came out around that time that have better controls, are more aesthetically pleasing, and on multiple consoles rather than being Xbox exclusive. Or, at least previously being Xbox exclusive.
The only real appeal to it that most other platformers didn't have was being able to possess your enemies.
I mean, I guess I can see someone looking at the cover art and going, "HUH, THIS LOOKS INTERESTING. I THINK I'LL PLAY IT." But that's it????
