Abusing the willing suspension of disbelief to cover up plot holes is bad form. If you need to choose between your standards and your library, I know which one I'd choose 100% of the time.

I know, but there's many movies with plot-holes and mistakes, that if I take account on them, I wouldn't enjoy them. It's choices you may, or may not, make just to enjoy something.
