I played Little Inferno from start to finish. It's pretty much
what it says on the box; you have a fireplace and you burn shit in it. A lot of that shit does interesting/cute/amusing things while they're burning. And some of the shit interacts with other shit in the fireplace.
You get money for burning shit, but you can only use the money to buy more shit. There are a lot of vaguely worded combos, in which you find two shits that go together in some way to create a pun. Combos give you stamps, which let you speed up delivery of shit.
There's a story aspect as well, but it feels tacked on. At a certain point, the gameplay
changes and it feels like the start of something BIG, but then it doesn't go anywhere and a few minutes later you get the end credits.
Having said that, it's actually kinda fun and cute and atmospheric. It's a toy, rather than a game. Buy it on sale and kill a few hours. Maybe wait until the mobile version comes out, as it feels like a game made for a touchscreen.
