I don't think you should compare schools illegally disregarding the human rights of their students to spy on them similar to governments and big businesses trying to sneak through anti-growth bills to protect their own interests. I think in some circles it may make you look like a paranoid, tin foil wearing, Coast to Coast Am calling loon.

So you're comfortable with every message you've privately, sent via phone, computer, or whatever, being read by an outside party? Maybe you're not paranoid enough.
