OK, but how do I record from my midi device?
Would it be possible to hook one end of a cable into the midi device's output port then hook the other end of the cable into my computer's microphone/input/line in port then record my stereo mix with audacity or something?

you could give it a try - or better: film yourself (optional: with a VHS cam) like a promo video for a wedding musician.
