They're alluding to a common titular trend from the olden days where stories or shows would sometimes have two titles separated by "or". We still do this today, but we omit the "or" like "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within" or "Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn".

Those are pretty bad examples though; they’re just the title of the overall series combined with a subtitle.
Frankenstein, or The Modern Prometheus is different from
Final Fantasy, or The Spirits Within.
