For example, Apple are very clever, your battery dies on an iPhone, you have to go directly to Apple to get it sorted, and most likely pay an absolute bomb. With Android, all you need is something off Ebay.

You can buy replacement batteries for iPhone off eBay/amazon too. There's plenty of tutorials that show you how to replace it yourself. Also, I don't really think many people would bother to replace their iPhone battery anyway 'cause unless you're on it literally all the time, the battery should be ok even after 2 years. iPhones have good power efficiency compared to other phones anyway. So you are less likely to feel the need to replace an iPhone's battery than other phones' batteries anyway.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not an Apple fanboy. But I'm not keen on Android because it just seems messy, and you can get viruses and stuff. iPhones have good security.
