Wasn't Shattered Memories just a remake of the first though? So of course it's going to be at least passable. I do like that the enemies in SH:SM change appearance depending on how you play, and I also like that they went the Amnesia route and made the monsters unkillable. I guess that was damage control for making Homecoming a fucking shoot 'em up.
Downpour was a fucking joke. The entire atmosphere felt more like The Suffering or RE than Silent Hill. The art direction was beyond garbage, and you can tell the developers ran out of ideas long ago.

Also, just so I'm not totally going off-topic, the new Silent Hill movie looks stupid.
However, they're being as upfront about it's stupidity as possible, so at least I know what I'm in for if I decide to see it.
