I wouldn't say stupid. Ignorant, yes, because they're all youngfags. Though the few older Bronies I've met, while friendly, all had the same god-awful mutual interests; dubstep, Kotawa Shoujo, and they were all /k/ommandos, oddly enough.
I don't really see the connection between bad music, VN's about crippled girls, guns and ponies, but apparently there is one.
