I still don't understand how this is supposed to work. This is for people who have their computer hooked up to their TV or something? I don't assume Sony and Microsoft would put this service on their respective consoles.
It's all very vague.

Some people have their PC hooked up to their living room TV. Big Picture is to accommodate those people, by making Steam play nice with a controller and a big screen, while the user sits on a couch a few feet away.
