9/11 is a moniker as much as it is a date. Also, for all you know the dating in system in Poland may well be 9/11. Doesn't make much sense to throw that up on an international forum.

Doesn't make much sense to throw an international date on something that happened in America, thus the date that most people correspond it with would be the American one.
