Cyriak Harris, who you'll doubtless remember from his cow videos, also produces all of his own music. Each to their own, of course. Also consider checking out 8-bit Collective when they come back online.

You may remember Brother Android from "The song I want played at my funeral". He did a concept album based on the sensations of winter. These are twinkling stars in a frozen sky... See, it is an art form.
