Well of course we exist, philosophers can dance around that argument for eternity but we do indeed exist. It is as you say, certain. There are measures to determine our existence too, philosophers however will debate their reliability. I take the standpoint that whatever a scientist says is generally going to have more sway than what a philosopher says.

Betrand Russel says/said that we may not exist, but as long as we have no active reason to believe we don't, we should take it for granted that we do.
That's an eminently sensible position
