Well adding more memory doesn't work so I'm going to do one final test to see if it's something on my end or with the Tekkit server/world in general.
I'm gonna switch over the servers, the Tekkit server will take the place of our vanilla server and vice versa. If the original world lags as badly as the Tekkit world then my machine isn't powerful enough. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
