Well I want to study literature or language so most universities will ask questions about books you should have read/ book you've put on your personal statement. I was asked on my opinion about how Lovecraft portrayed religion and gods in the Necronomicon, which I loved, because I was expecting something dismal about Wuthering Heights instead.
Sometimes you'll get asked impossible questions like, 'what is a banana', they know you can't answer properly but they want to know how you react.
