So now that the stronghold is over and done with, does anybody actually go onto the server anymore? Whenever I check (2 or 3 times throughout the day as I work on Minecraft RF) it's always 0/15 online, although I do jump in when I see someone. I haven't seen anyone online for at least a week, though.

It seems a little wasteful to have a server running 24/7 that barely anybody uses anymore, especially when there's monthly fees attached... Which is a shame, it's an awesome world that we all created together. I've noticed activity increases when MC updates come out, but they only hold people's interests for a short while.

I'm wondering if it's possible instead to plan events/exploration of adventure maps/PvP maps and only have a server temporarily up for the duration of those events. Dripik has hosted such maps before but there's always a lot of lag...

I wonder also if there's also a way to distribute the current server map to those who built it so that everyone can keep a copy of it as a reminder. Although someone (probably me) will have to link up Ma'Spa with Genesis with a path or track for people to follow, as a final act before the map is taken down (since portals don't work offline), and finish the railway to Exoddus.
