Someone I went to school with told me he got nightmares from playing Oddworld. I was shocked; that seemed so weird to me. I'd only ever found it to be cool and fascinating. Sure Oddworld could be dark and scary, but to me that was only in the compelling, tension/building way, not the actual terror way.

Nothing in Oddworld ever really scared me. The first time I ever beat AO I remember yelling, throwing my controller, and running into my room on the verge of tears because it called me a knucklehead. After I got over that bitch fit I shakily started back at the return to Rupture Farms and tried to rescue as many muds as I could. I had to have been at least 6.
Really, it was more of a HOW DARE YOU INSULT ME FOR PLAYING A GAME rather than I'M SO SCARED THIS GAME JUST CALLED ME A FAILURE AND I DIED
