It's nice to imagine what the ideal game would be like, but are we seriously discussing changing huge swaths of gameplay just to remove red rings and make Shrykull's appearance more impressive near the end?
I like the idea of making the rings more like an aura/bubble around Abe when he has them, and then that aura/bubble expanding in the same way the rings did to wipe everything out. They should definitely look more natural than they did before anyway.
I just thought, will we still only be able to possess sligs? I'm guessing it will be the same as AO, but if they ever remake AE then I'd like to be able to posess slogs and fleeches, I hated the idea that those little bastards had more mental fortitude than a scrab.
