That's easy for you to say. I never had an Xbox for years either. I only got one in 2009 so I didn't play them for years either! For goodness sake! Stop thinknig I'm taking it out of OWI and JAW! I mean OMG!? Seriously!? You seriously have the wrong impression! 
You're lucky you're getting them now! For freaking sake! Consider yourself lucky and put it at that! As for buying a PS3? They're £300! As for playing it on PC!? Bah! I only play games on PC if that's all they're on. PC is rubbsih for playing games in my opinion. :P

Each to their own. I personally prefer PC, I suppose because the community is (slightly) more mature than that of the console market. Also, because there's no barrier to getting your games out there; anyone can release a game without issue, there is a much more eclectic mix of game out there for it. Minecraft wouldn't have happened on a console.
In regard to the Microsoft Xbox thing; we want our games on every console we can get them on. The problem is that we don't want to jump through some of the hoops that Microsoft has thrown in front of us. We will continue to try, but it's not our fault if you don't see it on XBLM; ultimately it is Microsoft's decision.
