But why? What's actually wrong with 1.8+? Too many people dislike the Adventure Update for no good reason.

The only thing I hate is the Hunger Bar, I liked it when food just regenerated your health. oh and a few sounds before the 1.0 update such as Steve's 'Ow', Doors and the old Creeper explosions.
