This is a bit of a weird one and may take a little explanation.
As some of you may not be aware of, the
intro FMV for Abe's Oddysee's demo (seen here) was a shortened version of the original FMV used in the full game. I wanted to use it's soundtrack, without Abe's voice, for upcoming trailers for my Minecraft Rupture Farms project (A long way down the line from now).
I used Audacity. Originally, I used the voice removal tool to remove Lorne's voiceover - Except that didn't work very well and it ended up sounding crap. So instead, I took samples from the full length FMV soundtrack (there is a version out there without the voiceover), then spent a few hours editing and re-mixing extracted soundbytes to re-create the Demo soundtrack without the voiceover in a way that sounded half-decent.
Here you go, it's not accurate though:
And yeah I know the images don't sync with the audio but they're my reference shots I took for the Minecraft project to give people something to look at. They're not what the vid is about.
