I finished arcade mode on the hardest difficulty without loosing one life on the XBLA version. Though, that was when I was good at it, I'd probably get owned now.

That's impressive. Do you have any tips for a noob? Currently I can make it to the final boss' third phase, but I usually only have one guy left with half health and they get owned.
