Bunch o' stuff I found throughout the day.
I watched through this wondering what the catch was, only to find that the "catch" was pretty mundane and not really a catch at all. However, sadly it may be a catch for narrow-minded ignorant idiots. It is a good way of making people think about equal marriage though, so I'm posting it here.

When I first saw that video, it was accompanied by a statistic stating that showing gay people in loving, monogamous relationships has a far higher success rate of convincing people (I think the study was looking specifically at Americans, but I'm not sure) to support gay marriage than arguments about equal rights. Apparently that's the logic that the makers of that video used.
From my own experience, that research certainly seems to be true. There seems to something in the human psyche in which a large percentage of people support the concept of equal rights as long as it only applies to themselves. I've had arguments with people who try to claim that gay people only want to be able to marry because they don't like that they're not allowed to; as if it's one big game of reverse psychology.
