Magic Carpet was lightyears ahead of it's time. 8 player networked multiplayer, 3D deformable terrain, tons and tons of spells (with upgrades), a variety of enemies (including ones which only attack if you fight back and set the entire herd on you, enemies that stole your spells and mana). Different tactics to use on enemy players: Throw meteors at them, use lightning attacks, use a volcano on their castle,
raise a skeleton army!)
