I wanna play the new Twisted Metal, but after watching quite a few gameplay videos, I'm not all that impressed really, it just seems to different and even on it's own the game still looks rather cheap and crappy.
Seriously? What is up with being able to play as helicopters!? Isn't this supposed to be Twisted Metal!?
I remember Rogue Trip which was made by the same developers had a UFO and a helicopter you could play as but they were just there for laughs and actually had to be unlocked with a cheat code. From what I can see, Twisted Metal is trying to implement helicopters as normal characters, somebody correct me if I'm wrong though.

There is a
single helicopter that you can play as. It is not a character, it's an optional vehicle with no severe bearing on the gameplay, as it has the same strengths and weaknesses adjusted as any other car in the game. Twisted Metal Black had Sweetbot (TM still does), so if you're refusing to play it because they did something different from the old TM games, which were buggy, unbalanced, ugly pieces of shit, you don't even deserve to play as a Juggalo serial killer in an Ice Cream Bus. They've cleaned up the untidy controls, streamlined the cheat-code weapons of old so that they can't be spammed to shit and back and added an excellent and varied group of vehicles to play as. But it still plays the same, it's still infinite dumb fun and it's still better than your shit. Watching Gameplay videos of the new TM (I bet you were watching the Dev team videos, which are fucking terrible because Santa Monica is a bunch of grimdark manchildren) does not translate into actually playing the new TM.
