It's thicker than it looks, it's just pale. That said, a lot of my classmates have been nagging me to shave it off.

I say keep it. My mustache came in thin and took forever to fill out [and I'm still not entirely happy with it], so yours probably will too. Also, make sure to wash it with shampoo and not a bar of soap when you're in the shower as the soap will actually start to dry the skin out and slow down growth.
