I have listened to their first album, as well as iowa. I am ashamed to say that i spent 8 dollars of my money on both of the cd's, as well as a few hours of my time listening to that garbage.
In all fairness, if you can go on about how great they are, other people should be able to do just the opposite and say they're total crap (as long as that's their opinion, and they're not just picking a fight) I am into hardcore music, and these guys are like a joke in the music industry. I know the majority of the other rock bands out there absolutley hate slipknot...you know that when limp bizkit mocks a band, they have reached the ultimate low.

anyway....I always find it amusing when some one defends a band so fiercly, yet the band probably wouldn't do the same for you.
and back to the talent issue.....HA!
I'm in a band, simply for the fact that i can play drums when the drummer is sick, and i can scream/sing fairly well. These guys..all they do is shout and scream, and try to come off as tough guys with theiur pathetic gimmick....lamer than ICP in my opinion.
I'll end this un-tactful rambling session with a great quote-

Ok firstly with that whole limp bizkit thing hates slipknot is not complety true it's just fred durst who hates them, well he actual hates the fans more which means me (damn bastard). Also you said "they" all shout and scream? it's actual corey is the 1 that is vocals and he has an awesome voice, i'm mean think about it the band is a neo metal band you could'nt have micheal jackson singing to such destortion can you other wise it would sound stupid. And ofcoarse the band would'nt defend me they don't even know me but i'm sure if they did they would, but they do defend the fans for turds like fred durst. Anyway did'nt u say once you have been to there concerts, why would you go if you don't like em?
