Don't get Deus Ex. It's a bad game and it isn't even worth buying it to try it. So it isn't.

Just because you couldn't get into it, doesn't mean it's a bad game. It has a great plot, interesting characters (Adam Jensen's voice could have been better though) and the gameplay is good overall.
Sorry, I personally loved the game so I might get a bit defensive about it.
