More likely they would be middle-eastern Muslims, but nevertheless, Muslims across the board, from North Africa to Indonesia, have the concept of arranged marriages. I think you may be right that it's felt most strongly in India, but that is a Hindu concept as well.

This is true. I wasn't suggesting that Indian-Muslims
should be offended. Just that I'd understand if they were.
