Just killed the giant sleg without killing the smaller ones. The following scene showed me inside one of them. I died instantly the scene finished.

Oh, that happened to me. I killed the giant sleg, and the live 3D cutscene showed all the baby slegs in my proximity, then the cutscene ended and they all pounced on me and I died almost instantly.
