the problem with RE is, they saw how well shooters were doing (like Gears), so they tried it out dor themselves, needless to say, it didnt work, Silent Hill's going the same way.

Yeah. That's why a lot of people would be happy if most games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill stop making games all together.
I know why. It's fucking new people that play it for a week and then go back to COD! If game makers made games for people that are fans of the series then Silent Hill, Resident Evil would be so better!
But it's always about the money! ):
