After REIII, every single one has been a great being brain munching turd. The franchise died with the third game and I doubt there will ever be another one which truly improves upon those first three.
That being said, it's done better than the films, all of which were appalling apart from the first one. Even then...that one was okay at best.

you are so wrong, Mr. Bungle is so right, he took words out of my mouth, RE4 hit it right on the dot, yes they took it a bit far with RE5 but still, they realised their mistake and are sorting that out with RE6, but i agree with you about the films, theyre all complete shit, except Canon ones, like Degeneration and Damnation
