My parents have said they'll get me a new computer in the near future for Christmas. I'm completely fucking ecstatic about this because my current Windows computer is 10 years old. It's amazing given that its still reasonably fast, but I need an upgrade. I've been surviving due to the old Macbook we get through school, which is enough to run Super Meat Boy and Quake 3. Once I get my new rig I'll be looking into some stupidly expensive Razer peripherals.
My parents don't seem to be happy with just getting me a computer, because they want something physical to give me Christmas day. They want to give me something I want, too. Not just something for the sake of giving me something. I now need to convince myself I need something so that I can tell my parents I want it.
I may actually have to decline the computer when the time comes because I need to make a few trips interstate next year for flute-related things.
